Obowiązki
- Development and maintenance of the application’s backend in Java and Spring, as part of a mature, commercial clinical product used by hospitals and laboratories.
- Design, implementation and optimisation of services and APIs supporting the interpretation of NGS sequencing data and the generation of clinical reports.
- Working with a PostgreSQL database — designing schemas, writing and optimising queries, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Developing and maintaining applications in the AWS cloud environment, using containerisation (Docker).
- Working with an existing codebase that has been under development for several years — analysing, refactoring and safely introducing changes to the legacy system.
- Collaborating within a team working using the agile methodology (Scrum): participating in planning, reviews and daily stand-ups, and versioning code in Git/GitHub.
- Ensuring the quality, reliability and security of solutions — in accordance with the requirements for software in the medical sector.
